Nearly fifteen years after its iconic Christmas Day debut, the Nike Kobe 6 "Grinch" remains one of the most beloved holiday sneakers of all time. Nike has continued to bring the beloved Dr. Seuss-inspired colorway to life in recent years, including a 2020 Protro release and a more recent "Reverse Grinch" iteration.
Now, Nike is taking the "Grinch" theme to the gridiron. In November 2024, the brand released a Vapor Edge cleat featuring the signature green and red color scheme. And just in time for Christmas 2024, Vanessa Bryant has revealed a special mismatched pair of "Grinch" cleats set to release in limited quantities.
As the name suggests, the cleats feature a mismatched design - one in the original green "Grinch" colorway, and the other in the reversed red and green "Reverse Grinch" theme. According to Vanessa Bryant, "only the nastiest get the nicest," implying that these exclusive cleats will be extremely limited.
Nike has not yet provided specific release details, but Bryant noted that "select pairs" will be available on Christmas Day. Sneaker fans and football players alike will certainly be hoping to secure a pair of these unique "Grinch" cleats to add to their collections.
In the meantime, Kobe enthusiasts can look forward to the upcoming Kobe 9 Protro "Moonwalker" release in 2025. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for all the latest updates on Kobe Bryant's signature sneakers and other must-have releases.
