The Nike Air Force 1 Wild Embraces More ACG Flavor

Nike is continuing to expand its Air Force 1 Wild lineup with a new colorway that draws inspiration from the brand's outdoor-focused ACG line. The latest iteration features a "Flax" base accented by pops of "Teal Charge" and "Red Sepia."

The formula for Air Force 1 Wild colorways has been the same since the model's inception - borrow design cues from Nike ACG. This "Flax" colorway continues that trend, with bright colors set against an earth-toned backdrop, which pairs naturally with the outdoor-minded AF1 silhouette.

While the AF1 Wild hasn't necessarily been embraced by hardcore ACG fans, it appears Nike has more heritage-inspired colorways in the works for 2025. This latest release marks the first new AF1 Wild we've seen in about eight months.

The shoe features a number of distinct design elements, including rugged mesh on the toe box, quarter, and backtab, rope laces, and loop eyelets for a clear trail shoe aesthetic. Altered suede overlays take on the titular "Flax" hue, while the tongue, backtab, and lining all come in "Red Sepia." Stitched detailing appears on both the lateral and medial sides, and the checkerboard midsole introduces a bit of Air Humara DNA.

Underfoot, the altered sole is complete with an abstract, wavy tread featuring soft pink on the interior portion. The Air Force 1 Wild "Flax/Red Sepia/Teal Charge/Black" is set to release in women's sizing this Spring 2025 for the usual $145 retail price.
