Sneaker enthusiasts, get ready for another exciting collaboration! Boston-based retailer CNCPTS has teamed up with New Balance to put their unique spin on the retro 740 silhouette.
The "Saignée" colorway takes inspiration from the champagne-making process, featuring a gradient mesh base that transitions from light to dark green. This eye-catching upper is complemented by an orange tongue and New Balance logo for a bold contrast.
The overlays around the toe and quarter section appear in a light grey, while the extended heel panel brings the green and orange shades together for a cohesive look. Adding to the premium feel, these kicks come with cork insoles - further blending the line between performance running and lifestyle wear.
The New Balance 740 is the latest 2010s runner to get the modern-day revival treatment, joining the ranks of successful models like the 1906R, 2002R, and 530. With heavy marketing support and collaborations like this one with CNCPTS, it's clear that New Balance has high hopes for the 740's second stint in the spotlight.
Sneakerheads will be able to get their hands on the CNCPTS x New Balance 740 "Saignée" colorway starting December 13th. The release will be available both online and in-store at CNCPTS' Boston, New York, and brand-new Miami locations.
