SZA Teases 'Lana' Album Expansion With New Trailer

In an exciting update for SZA fans, the acclaimed singer has shared a teaser trailer hinting at the upcoming release of her "Lana" project. After the massive success of her 2022 album "SOS," it seems SZA is ready to expand on that body of work with new music.

The teaser clip, which SZA captioned "Clock starts now. Happy anniversary," features a new song that prominently samples the Isley Brothers' classic "Voyage to Atlantis." The visuals show SZA in a serene, natural setting, adding to the mystique of the upcoming release.

Interestingly, the trailer ends with the text "Lana" followed by "SOS Deluxe," suggesting that "Lana" will be a deluxe edition of the "SOS" album rather than a completely standalone project. This aligns with previous reports that SZA was working on a deluxe version of "SOS" to follow up her critically acclaimed second studio album.

In a recent appearance on Kai Cenat's livestream, SZA confirmed that there is "a whole new project that you will hear […] It will be out before the year is over." She also revealed in a Vogue cover story that she is currently working on two different projects - the "SOS" deluxe and her third full-length album.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from SZA since the release of "SOS," which earned the singer her first-ever Grammy win earlier this year. The album was a massive commercial and critical success, cementing SZA's status as one of the most exciting and innovative artists in the R&B/hip-hop landscape.

With the "Lana" teaser, it's clear that SZA is ready to give her devoted fanbase even more music to enjoy. The countdown has officially begun, and we can't wait to see what the talented artist has in store for us in the coming months.
