Roc Marciano and The Alchemist Drop First Single "Chopstick" from Upcoming Album 'The Skeleton Key'

Rap fans have a lot to look forward to as powerhouse duo Roc Marciano and The Alchemist have just released the first single "Chopstick" off their upcoming collaborative album The Skeleton Key.

The Evidence-directed music video finds Roc and Alchemist cruising the streets of Los Angeles as Roc lays down his signature gritty and introspective bars over Alchemist's production. This track serves as the lead single ahead of the album's release on streaming services this Friday, December 13th.

The Skeleton Key tracklist and cover art have also been revealed, giving listeners a preview of what's to come. The 10-track project follows up the pair's 2022 collaborative album The Elephant Man's Bones, which was widely praised by critics.

Roc Marciano is continuing his prolific run, as The Skeleton Key will mark his second album of 2024 after the release of Marciology back in March. That project earned a strong 4 out of 5 score from HipHopDX, with reviewer Will Schube lauding Roc's unparalleled ability to "blend extravagance with economy."

The Alchemist has also been incredibly busy this year, dropping his solo album The Genuine Articulate as well as production credits on major releases from the likes of J. Cole, Big Sean, ScHoolboy Q, and Benny The Butcher. He now adds another high-profile collaboration to his resume with Roc Marciano.

Fans can hear "Chopstick" now and look forward to the full The Skeleton Key album arriving at the end of the week. Based on the pedigree of these two artists, it's sure to be another must-listen project in their acclaimed discographies.
