Preview New Jordans for January 2025

As the Air Jordan line celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025, Jordan Brand has an absolutely stacked calendar of releases planned for the year. While the full year is jam-packed with highly anticipated pairs, January's lineup, though relatively scant compared to the rest of the year, still has plenty to get excited about.

Kicking things off on January 11th is the long-awaited return of the Air Jordan 3 "Black Cat." This stealthy all-black colorway is making its first-ever retro appearance, arriving in full family sizing.

On January 22nd, the Air Jordan 5 gets a sophisticated "Earth" makeover, featuring a crisp white upper with dark brown midsole and lining accents, plus a metallic gold tongue.

The annual Doernbecher Freestyle collection also makes its debut on January 25th, this time showcasing a unique Air Jordan 6 designed by patient Jillian Beagley. Her love for sports shines through the playful mix of pink, blue, and white.

Rounding out the month, the "Year of the Snake" theme takes center stage. On January 29th, an Air Jordan 1 Low OG arrives with a snakeskin Swoosh and light blue accents. An Air Jordan 5 and Air Jordan 11 Low in "Year of the Snake" colorways are also expected to drop sometime towards the end of the month, though exact release dates are still TBD.

While January may be relatively tame compared to the rest of 2025, there's still plenty for Jordan fans to look forward to. Be sure to bookmark our Jordan Release Dates page for all the latest updates on these and other upcoming drops.
