NBA YoungBoy Allegedly Assaults Jail Inmate for Repping Lil Durk's OTF Crew

It seems NBA YoungBoy's ongoing feud with Lil Durk has spilled over into the prison walls. According to reports, the rapper allegedly assaulted a fellow inmate at FCI Talladega federal prison in Alabama for repping Durk's OTF crew.

Terrance "Gangsta" Williams, who is said to be YB's brother, revealed in an Instagram Live that the Baton Rouge rapper had been placed in solitary confinement after hitting a Mississippi man "with a two-piece" who had yelled out "OTF" upon seeing him.

There is a longstanding history of beef between YB and Durk, and their respective crews. It's possible the inmate was simply trying to bait YB, without actually being affiliated with OTF. But according to Williams, YB is "in there standing on business" and the incident has not affected his upcoming prison release.

In 2023, NBA YoungBoy admitted that his feud with Lil Durk is mostly for "entertainment" purposes. Rapper-turned-podcaster Gillie Da Kid had previously said he wanted the two to squash their beef, noting that if they could perform on the same stage, it could show younger fans "that shit ain't that serious."

YB appeared to be open to the idea, saying in a video: "If both of them could hit the stage in the same night, it could show the young'uns that that shit ain't that serious. The beef ain't that serious. None of this drama is that serious."

The two artists have been going back-and-forth since 2021, when Durk's close friend and labelmate King Von was killed in an altercation involving Quando Rondo, an affiliate of NBA YoungBoy. Despite their public animosity, the rappers have also revealed they speak to each other a few times a week.

It remains to be seen if YB and Durk will ever truly squash their differences. But this latest prison incident shows their feud is far from over, even behind bars.
