Lil Baby is poised for another big debut on the Billboard 200 chart with his new album 'WHAM (Who Hard As Me)'. According to chart predictions, the 15-track project is expected to land at #1 on the chart next week with estimated first-week sales of 115,000 to 125,000 album equivalent units.
This would mark Lil Baby's fourth consecutive #1 album, following the success of his previous chart-toppers 'My Turn' (2020), 'The Voice of the Heroes' with Lil Durk (2021), and 'It's Only Me' (2022). The Atlanta rapper has firmly established himself as one of the biggest stars in hip-hop over the past few years.
'WHAM' features guest appearances from the likes of Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, GloRilla, Rod Wave, Rylo, and 21 Savage. Lil Baby recently revealed that this won't be his only release of 2025, as he's planning to drop a second album titled 'Dominique' shortly after 'WHAM'.
According to Lil Baby, 'WHAM' will showcase his more "turned up" side, with songs about "fast cars, girls, jewelry, money", while 'Dominique' will be a more personal and vulnerable project. He wanted to include some songs originally intended for 'Dominique' on 'WHAM' to satisfy his core fanbase.
With the anticipation and impressive first-week projections, it's clear Lil Baby is poised for another massive commercial success with 'WHAM'. Fans are eagerly awaiting both of his planned 2025 releases as the Atlanta superstar continues to cement his status as one of the genre's premier talents.
