In a bold move, Kanye West has once again taken aim at his fashion industry rivals, this time drawing inspiration from his fellow Gemini, the legendary Tupac Shakur, as well as the iconic action hero John Wick.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Ye announced that he would be launching a new women's Yeezy clothing line and issued a stark warning to his competitors: "Be afraid. Be very afraid." Channeling the fiery energy of 2Pac, he declared, "Die motherfucker Die," before adding, "Now play off the grid," a reference to the hard-hitting track from his Donda album.
This latest tirade comes on the heels of Kanye's ongoing feud with his former business partner, adidas. He accused the German sportswear giant of "design theft and oppression," as well as freezing his accounts. Ye also took aim at his former collaborator, Jerry Lorenzo of Fear of God, branding him "corny and disloyal" for working with adidas.
Undeterred, Kanye is forging ahead with his vision, proving that he's doing just fine without adidas. He flexed the impressive $2.3 million in Yeezy sales he generated in just 24 hours, crowning himself "THE GOAT OF ALL GOATS" and declaring, "If you design and don't work at Yeezy close your dirty ass laptop and go to bed."
This latest battle in Kanye's ongoing war with the fashion industry is a testament to his unwavering commitment to his vision and his refusal to be intimidated or oppressed. With the fiery spirit of 2Pac and the relentless determination of John Wick, Ye is making it clear that he will not back down, and his rivals had better be afraid.
As the fashion world watches with bated breath, one thing is certain: Kanye West is not going anywhere, and he's ready to fight for his rightful place at the top of the industry.
