First Look at the Salehe Bembury x PUMA Collaboration

In a surprising move, PUMA has teamed up with renowned designer Salehe Bembury for an exciting new collaboration. Bembury, known for his "Be A Spunge" label, has added the German sportswear giant to his already impressive list of collaborators.

Stepping away from the basketball court, Bembury has provided a first look at the upcoming Salehe Bembury x PUMA product. The shoe features several of Bembury's signature design elements, most notably the midsole which showcases his trademark fingerprint embossed into the rear, transitioning into a striated foam at the forefoot.

The upper construction leans more towards a running "supershoe" aesthetic, with a thin profile and chunky midsole. However, the overall shape still resembles the PUMA All-Star Nitro, a key model in the brand's basketball lineup. Similarities can also be drawn to the Deivate Nitro line, particularly in the foot entrance and tongue shape.

While this collaboration has not been confirmed as a "signature" model for Bembury, the designer has been spotted wearing the shoes, suggesting a high likelihood of this being a joint effort. Sneaker enthusiasts will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on any further developments surrounding this intriguing partnership.
