Eminem's 'The Death of Slim Shady' Surpasses 1 Billion Streams

It's been a big year for Eminem. The rap legend's latest album, "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)," has officially surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. This impressive milestone comes on the heels of the album's Grammy nominations.

According to KWORB, the album now sits at 1.3 billion streams on the platform. The project is up for Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards, while the lead single "Houdini" is also nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Music Video.

This continued success is just the latest accolade for Eminem, who was recently named among 26 nominees for the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF). To be eligible, a songwriter must have their first significant commercial release at least 20 years ago. For Em, the SHOF highlighted some of his most iconic tracks, including "Lose Yourself," "Stan," "Mockingbird," "Houdini," and "Rap God."

In addition to his musical achievements, Eminem has also made a surprise appearance in the upcoming "Happy Gilmore" sequel. According to a source, the rapper had a "comedic acting role" and was "a total pleasure to work with" on set. He'll be joined by fellow rapper Kid Cudi, who has also been tapped for a role in the film.

With his latest album breaking streaming records, Grammy nominations, and a Hollywood cameo, it's clear that Eminem is showing no signs of slowing down. Fans can look forward to more greatness from the Rap God in the years to come.
