Drake Announces Australian Tour to Launch on Super Bowl Sunday

Hip hop superstar Drake is making a highly anticipated return to Australia for the first time in 8 years. The Canadian rapper announced his new "Anitta Max Wynn" tour, which will hit major cities across Australia starting on February 9th, 2025.

The tour kickoff date is notable, as it coincides with the same day that Kendrick Lamar is set to take the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show. Drake revealed the tour details during an appearance on popular streamer xQc's livestream, sharing that the trek will include stops in Melbourne, Sydney, and Gold Coast.

"I'm coming to Australia for the first time in eight years, coming back to Australia on tour it's actually funny enough called the Anitta Max Wynn tour," Drake told xQc's audience.

The announcement comes after Drake teased the international tour last week by sharing an Instagram throwback photo from a previous visit to Australia, writing "It's been like 7 years" along with several eye emojis.

In other Drake news, the 6 God has also released a new music video for his track "No Face." The visual features Drake and his OVO crew members surrounded by luxury vehicles and OVO branding as they take over a local mall.

Fans in Australia will no doubt be thrilled to have Drake back on their shores, especially on the same day as the high-profile Super Bowl halftime show. Tickets for the "Anitta Max Wynn" tour are sure to be in high demand, so Australian Drakers will want to act fast when they go on sale.

With new music, a massive tour, and a Super Bowl tie-in, Drake is positioning himself for a major 2025. The wait for his return to Australia is almost over, and it's shaping up to be an epic homecoming for the global superstar.
