Sneaker enthusiasts, get ready for another exciting collaboration from the minds at CNCPTS. Following their previous successful partnership on the CNCPTS x New Balance 998 "C-Note" back in 2013, the Boston-based retailer is now set to release the CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 "Míle."
This new sneaker is inspired by the legendary $1,000 treasury note from 1890, which later sold at auction for a staggering $3,290,000. The official name "Míle" is the Irish Gaelic word for "thousand," paying homage to the rare and valuable banknote.

The CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 "Míle" features a range of green and white colorways, each with its own unique material composition. The designs showcase a mix of mesh, leather, and suede, with the iconic "1000" text prominently displayed in red on the toe and heel. Additional red co-branding from CNCPTS and New Balance can be found on the tongues.
"This continues a theme that began with the CNCPTS x New Balance 998 'C-Note' from 2013, which was of course inspired by the $100 bill redesign," said CNCPTS creative head Deon Point.
The CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 "Míle" is set to release on March 14, 2025, for a retail price of $150. Sneakerheads and collectors alike will undoubtedly be eager to get their hands on this latest currency-inspired collaboration from CNCPTS and New Balance.
Stay tuned for more updates and information on where to buy the CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 "Míle." This release is sure to be a hot commodity, so be sure to mark your calendars and set your alarms for the upcoming launch.
