In an exciting collaboration, bespoke clothing brand Bode is teaming up with Nike once again to release two new colorways of the Astrograbber sneaker. The Astrograbber was one of Nike's early forays into American football, debuting back in 1974, and this modern take on the classic silhouette is sure to turn heads.
The first colorway, set to release exclusively at Bode stores and online on March 14th, features a "Chlorophyll" green leather upper. This eye-catching green hue was first previewed at Paris Fashion Week in February, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the official release.
The second colorway, dropping on the Nike SNKRS app on March 21st, sports a "Black/Coconut Milk" color scheme. This version boasts a mesh base, with leather Swoosh and tongue details, as well as suede panels around the eyelets, heel, and mudguard.
Much like the brand's previous Bode x Nike Samba collaboration, these Astrograbber sneakers blend sport-inspired design with elevated, fashion-forward styling. The slim, sleek silhouette and premium materials used throughout give these sneakers a decidedly chic, sophisticated look.
While the Astrograbber hasn't seen much action in the modern era, with Bode collaborations being the only releases we've seen, its younger sibling, the Field General, has become a fixture in Nike's inline lineup over the past year.
Sneakerheads and fashion enthusiasts alike will surely be eager to add these limited-edition Bode x Nike Astrograbbers to their collections. Mark your calendars for the upcoming release dates, and be sure to act fast - these are sure to sell out quickly!
