In a highly anticipated collaboration, streetwear giant BAPE has joined forces with footwear brand Crocs to create a unique take on the classic Crocs Clog. This marks BAPE's first-ever venture into the world of Crocs, and the results are exactly what fans of both brands would expect.
The BAPE x Crocs collection features three distinctive colorways of the Crocs Classic Clog silhouette. Staying true to BAPE's iconic aesthetic, the clogs are adorned in the brand's instantly recognizable ABC camo print. The colors spotlighted include the classic olive camo, as well as vibrant pink and blue iterations.
Adding to the collaboration's streetwear appeal, the Crocs are outfitted with a range of Bape-themed Jibbitz charms. These include the instantly recognizable Ape Head logo, the adorable Baby Milo character, and the brand's signature shark graphic.
According to the release information, the BAPE x Crocs collection will first launch globally on March 8th, both online and at BAPE's retail locations. A wider release is then set to follow on March 12th, though official pricing details have not yet been confirmed.
This partnership marks another major collaboration for Crocs, who have cemented their status as a streetwear-approved brand through high-profile team-ups with the likes of CLOT and BEAMS in recent years. For BAPE, the Crocs collab represents an expansion into a new product category, showcasing the brand's ability to put its signature spin on even the most unexpected silhouettes.
