50 Cent Claps Back at Las Vegas Residency Criticism

50 Cent is not taking the criticism of his Las Vegas residency lightly. The rapper has hit back at those who have panned his six-show stint in Sin City, saying he puts on a different type of show compared to artists like Usher and Chris Brown.

During the final date of his residency at PH Live inside the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, 50 Cent addressed some of the negative reviews he's received. "They said the audio was bad," he said with a smirk. "I said, 'Bitch, you was supposed to say some shit like, '50 be doing this shit' [waves hand in the air repeatedly]. That's what I'ma do! Don't say the music was bad. Fuck all that."

The Power mogul went on to differentiate his show from the likes of Usher and Chris Brown, who are known for their high-energy dance routines. "What you thought, I was gonna be out here rollerblading like Usher? I seen some shit, Chris Brown was flying in Africa. I don't have records that require me to fly in Africa."

50 Cent also took to social media to address the criticism, calling out Hot 97 for reporting on a particularly scathing review from popular travel blogger Vegas Star Fish. In a since-deleted Instagram post, 50 wrote: "Wow. Hot 97 hate. I get it the station is falling apart but you can't post the same shit world star post. This is just bad for Hip Hop."

Vegas Star Fish's review was indeed brutal, calling 50's residency "the worst show that's ever come to Vegas." She criticized the sound quality, the overbearing hype men, and the lack of energy and crowd engagement from the rapper.

However, 50 Cent remains unapologetic, suggesting that his show is a different experience than what fans might expect from a typical Vegas residency. He's clearly not fazed by the criticism and is determined to do things his own way.

Despite the negative reviews, 50's Las Vegas residency has proven to be a popular destination for tourists and residents alike, reportedly earning him a staggering $15 million. It seems the G-Unit boss is having the last laugh, proving that he can still draw a crowd and rake in the cash, even if his show doesn't fit the mold of a traditional Vegas residency.
